Using a gastronomic broadcast format, this video talks about the way to articulate two different cultural backgrounds: the Colombian and the French ones. A traditional Colombian restaurant owner explains how to prepare some of her dishes, and the variations she made in order to preserve its original characteristic flavour, satisfying the refined French culinary tastes. Some ingredients were changed, also some procedures and presentations. From a perspective of cultural hybrids, cooking is a medium to talk about (national) identity.
